Jul 2, 2018. #14. This defeat the large army is too over tuned. On a new world in HMA and the first army is 3 x crossbows, 3 berserkers, 2 rogue. 2nd army is 3 knights, 3 berserkers and 2 rogues. All with a 10% attack and defence bonus. I can't even get close to killing this and I can't imagine many players could.

use rogue hideouts (most fights I try using two units + 6 rogues unless its an odd comp) use proper unit comp (sometimes ranged, sometimes heavies, learn the counters) if this is your first event, try to get one or two rogue hideouts, helps a lot with those difficult fights. Participate in special events and get rogue hideouts.
Mar 5, 2022. #3. Upgrade military buildings - and all other buildings - to your current age. There's usually no reason to keep buildings from lower ages. And yes, Alcactraz is an important Great Building, though pretty big, 10x7. It produces "unattached" troops from the military buildings you have in the city.
