20 TFSi Misfire. I'm experiencing a misfire problem with my 2.0 petrol TT. When the engine is cold there is a period of rough-running between about 2-3000rpm which you can drive through and the engine then picks up. This misfire/rough running also appears intermittently when the engine is hot and mainly occurs in higher gears but in the same Reactionscore. 51. Points. 28. Sep 5, 2018. #9. Coil and ecu upgrade might help but it’s also symptoms of a failed PCV valve. On the 3.2 it’s a right pain in the backside to get to to check or change (unlike the 2.0 tfsi which is under the engine cover). Could also be your evap canister is blocked too.
